The team is led by Dr. Cezar Joiţa.

Research directions:

  • Theory of functions of several complex variables;
  • Dynamical systems and ergodic theory;
  • Analytic convexity, singularity theory;
  • Vector fiber bundles and topology of complex spaces;
  • Potential theory and stochastic analysis.

There are two weekly seminars held at the Institute:

  • Theory of functions of several complex variables, held on Tuesday afternoon.
  • Potential theory, held on Tuesday, from 14:00.

The members of the team are regularly publishing in prestigious foreign journals, such as: Annals of Mathematics, Mathematische Annallen, Annali Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa, Topology, Duke Mathematical Journal, Transactions of the AMS, Journal of Geometric Analysis, Arkiv för Mathematik, Manuscripta Mathematica, Astérisque, Advances in Mathematics...
