Special session: Geometry and Topology of differentiable manifolds and algebraic varietiesOrganizers: Anca Macinic (contact person), Laurentiu Maxim, Stefan Papadima (IMAR) This Special Session will focus on the interplay between geometry and topology, on possibly singular spaces. We expect that a broad variety of topics will be covered, among (but not limited to) the following: - real and complex singularities - twisted Betti numbers and jump loci - the role of the underlying combinatorics in the study of hypersurface arrangements - noncommutative geometry - probabilistic methods in analysis on manifolds - representation stability patterns |
