Dear colleagues,

This is a preliminary announcement for Groupoidfest 2002, the eighth annual workshop on Groupoids and their Applications to C* Algebras, Geometry, and Physics. We are planning to hold it on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno on the weekend of 9-10 November 2002.

We have reserved a block of rooms at the University Inn for 8-10 November at $55/night (single or double). To make reservations please call 775 323 0321 at least one month in advance. Information on alternate accomodations will also be made available.

Let us know of your interest and whether you wish to give a talk. Following the tradition set at previous meetings the travel budget of $0 will be divided equally among the participants.

We hope to see you in Reno this Fall for the Groupoidfest!
