We discuss fundamental properties of Rhaly operators in some Banach sequence spaces, namely boundedness, compactness and facts about the spectrum on $l^{\infty}$ and $l^{p}$ for $p>1$. This is a joint work with Gabriel Prajitura (SUNY Brockport).
